We’re Hiring: Part-Time Seasonal Event Setup Assistant
Position Type: Part-time, seasonal
Availability Required: Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays only
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Event Setup Assistant to join our team for the wedding season.
Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Assist with setup and takedown of wedding and event décor
- Move and place tables, chairs, arches, and ceiling decorations
- Steam and iron fabric items as needed
- Perform light cleaning tasks before and after events
Requirements:
- Must be physically able to lift heavy items and handle physically demanding work
- Must be efficient and able to complete tasks within tight timelines
- Must have a car and a valid driver’s license — please do not apply if you do not have a vehicle
- Must be available every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday throughout the season — this is a weekend-only position
- Must be flexible with shift times, including early mornings and late evenings
- Must currently reside in New Brunswick — please do not apply if you live outside the province
- Must be dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- A criminal record check will be required for the selected candidate
