Job Title: Part-Time Evening Cleaner – Butcher Shop
Location: Caroline Meats, Caroline, AB
Schedule:
- Days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
- Hours: Starting at 4:30 PM until cleaning is complete (typically 9–10 PM)
- Additional hours may be available as needed
About the Role:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a part-time evening cleaner at our butcher shop. This position plays a key role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in our facility.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, floors, and surfaces in the butcher shop
- Wash and properly store tools, trays, and utensils
- Remove garbage and recycling, ensuring proper disposal
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Complete cleaning tasks efficiently while paying close attention to detail
- Maintain a safe and organized workspace
Qualifications:
- Previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred but not required (training provided)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and stay on task until the job is complete
- Comfortable working in a food-handling environment
- Dependable and punctual
Compensation:
- Competitive hourly wage, based on experience
