At this time, we are currently seeking a Junior Estimator/Quality Control Coordinator to join our growing team. This is a full-time position.
Job Description/Main Responsibilities
· Aggregate, analyze, and understand all aspects of customer data and information (prints, spec sheets, customer specifics, CAD drawings, other documents) to produce an accurate job estimate
· Gather, recognize and implement customer standards into estimates as needed
· Calculate appropriate material, labour, and time charges on each quote
· Organized maintenance of all estimating records, data, and information
· Effective communication service skills when corresponding with customers to rectify any discrepancies
· Schedule and conduct internal audits
· Identify OFIs
· Perform TGWs as needed
· Ensure all processes and procedures are aligned with ISO requirements
· Ensure all process flows, process maps, work instructions are updated and followed
· Update QMS to comply with ISO 9001 updates
· Review ISO standards with employees as needed
· Liaise with NSF account manager as needed
· Liaise with external auditors as needed
· Organize all QMS records to ensure they’re accurate and updated
· Schedule training for staff (annual WHMIS, 3-yr forklift & crane, 3-yr JHSC, H&S in 5 steps)
· Check crane, forklift inspections
· Complete monthly emergency light, monthly workplace inspections
· Complete quarterly JHSC reports
· Manage annual fire safety inspections
· Update safety corkboards and legislated posters
· Manage time efficiently across different project demands
· Technical writing as needed for external users
Requirements
- 2+ years of Cimatron experience
- 2+ years of plastic injection mold design
- 1+ years in QC/quality management systems
- A strong understanding of plastic injection mold design and construction
- Attention to detail to deliver precise estimates
- Strong ability to think critically to deliver creative solutions
- Self-sufficient and able to work with ambiguity
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
