We are currently looking for a talented and driven Estimator to join our expanding operations team.
Job Overview
As an Estimator, you will play a key role in preparing cost estimates for interior renovation and building maintenance projects. You will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure accurate pricing, budgeting, and scheduling. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with solid experience in the construction industry and a strong understanding of materials and labor costs.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for interior renovation and building maintenance projects.
- Conduct site visits to gather necessary information and measurements.
- Interpret architectural and engineering drawings and project specifications.
- Source and liaise with subcontractors and suppliers for pricing and availability.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure estimates align with timelines and budgets.
- Assist in the preparation of project proposals and change orders.
- Track and manage cost variations throughout project life cycles.
- Maintain organized records of estimates, bids, and contracts.
Qualifications & Skills
- 3–5 years of experience in estimating, construction, or interior renovation.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and building maintenance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Valid G-class driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
