Purpose of the position
The position will (but not limited to):
- Operate heavy equipment such as trucks, loaders, backhoes, etc.
- Operate other small equipment.
- Conduct flagging for traffic control.
- Perform regular maintenance on trucks and equipment.
- Follow all Lac La Biche County safety protocols and procedures.

To be successful in this position, you will:
- Hold previous experience operating and providing basic maintenance on small and medium equipment
- Have a Class 3 driver's license
- Be able to lift up to medium and heavy items (50lbs+)
- Possess good customer service, public relations, communications, and teamwork skills
- Hold basic computer skills
- Enjoy working outdoors and be comfortable working in adverse weather along with exposure to noise and fumes
- Be familiar with safe working procedures working with equipment.
Position Details:
- Permanent Full-Time
- 2080 hours annually (8 hour work day) and may involve days, evenings, or weekends based on operational needs
- Wage $28.30 to $39.50 hourly ($58,864.00 to $82,160.00 hourly)
