What you’ll do:
- Manage and maintain Equipment Integrity projects and programs, including Risk Based Inspection, Dead Legs, and the Corrosion Monitoring Program.
- Develop and manage Asset Care Strategies (ACS) for fixed equipment based on damage mechanisms and historical information.
- Lead and provide oversight on daily inspection as well as Turnaround activities completed by in-service inspectors.
- Review, approve, and maintain inspection reports for fixed equipment and piping circuits.
- Complete root cause failure analysis following unexpected events.
- Complete basic fitness for service analysis using data from historical information, as-found condition, and future requirements.
- Validate equipment Inspection Test Plans for in-service inspection activities.
- Provide direction to contract in-service inspectors and NDE Technicians.

The Team: You will work closely with technicians, technologists and engineers on the team who specialize in areas such as pressures vessels, heat exchangers, fired equipment, piping, tanks, QA/QC as well as other special projects. This team strives to cultivate a culture of innovation, support and collaboration.
The Collaborators: You will work closely with other functions at our Co-op Refinery Complex and collaborate with teams such as Turnaround, Maintenance, and Operations.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Engineering & Engineering Technology and:
- You have a bachelor’s degree or a diploma in engineering or engineering technology from an accredited institution with preference for the mechanical, industrial, corrosion or metallurgical related disciplines.
- If you are an Engineer, you are eligible for registration with APEGS
- You have a minimum of 8 years of experience, preferably in the energy industry (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.)
- You are familiar with NBIC, API 510, API 570, and API 571.
- TSASK Pressure Equipment Class 1 or 2 would be considered an asset.
- You’re honest and trustworthy, are results oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
