Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain various types of flooring including tile, hardwood, laminate, and vinyl.
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine layout and specifications for flooring projects.
- Utilize hand tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and installing flooring materials.
- Perform caulking and sealing tasks to ensure durability and aesthetic appeal of installations.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople as needed to complete projects efficiently.
- Conduct regular inspections of installed floors to identify maintenance needs or potential issues.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns professionally.
Requirements
- Proven experience in flooring installation or related maintenance person services.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and equipment relevant to flooring work.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Knowledge of various flooring materials and installation techniques.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy materials as needed.
- A positive attitude and strong communication skills are essential for collaborating with team members and clients.
