About the Role

The Energy Services and Partnership Manager will be a key member of the Customer Energy Services (CES) team and responsible for developing and maintaining long-term relationships with existing and new customers. The Energy Services and Partnership Manager will operate with a high level of integrity prioritizing the customer’s needs and exceeding their expectations. We are seeking a hardworking individual who is passionate about decarbonization and has a desire to play an active role in the transition to clean energy.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within assigned accounts.
  • Provide day-to-day support to Enwave customers, including handling inquiries via phone, email, and other channels.
  • Oversee the successful delivery of energy solutions and projects, ensuring timely completion and customer satisfaction.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with customers at all levels, from building operators and property managers to executive leadership.
  • Develop and implement onboarding processes for new customers, including training and facility tours.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including partnership, engineering, and operations, to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Collaborate with customers to develop and manage projects that offer additional value and benefits.
  • Optimize the supply chain process with service providers and equipment suppliers to meet project timelines and budgets.
  • Create and present compelling proposals and pitch documents to secure new business within existing accounts.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscapes to identify potential opportunities.

Relationships (Internal/External Stakeholders)

  • The Energy Services and Partnership Manager will serve as the primary liaison between Enwave's customers and internal stakeholders. This role is essential in delivering exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, emergencies, billing, metering, and promoting value-added services.
  • Internal stakeholders: Commercial Operations, Asset Management, Solution and Innovations, Construction Project Management, Plant Operations, and Finance.
  • External stakeholders: include, but not limited to:
  • Enwave customers such as Hospitals, Data Centers, Commercial buildings, Residential, etc.
  • Customers consultants and contractors
  • Enwave’s consultants and contractors
  • Service providers and equipment suppliers
  • Utility partners: Cities and Municipalities, Toronto Hydro, London Hydro, Alectra, Enbridge Gas, etc.


Desired Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • 5-7 years of relevant industry experience with direct focus on customer service, customer engagement and customer success
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Engineering, Energy & Sustainability, Environmental Studies, or Construction Management
  • Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems operations and building automation systems
  • 2+ years sales experience with at least 3 years selling value add services, building automation systems, energy as a service, maintenance contracts
  • A track record of closing forecasted deals, including solid monthly/quarterly forecasting, pre and post sales process, and ongoing account management skills
  • Strong customer service skills in B2B environment handling mission critical operations customers with high level of professionalism
  • Ability to create comprehensive, creative, and effective long-term communication plans
  • Experience in managing customer relationships on a national level
  • A self-starter with ability to create new market share through new line of services
  • Strong networking skills with ability to go an extra mile for ultimate customer satisfaction
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment which requires a high level of flexibility and adaptability
