Position: Energy Efficiency Event Representative
Location: Moncton, NB

Hourly Wage: $19/hour
Job Summary
Summerhill is a Canadian leader in running programs that help people use energy more wisely. We design and manage public engagement campaigns that create measurable energy savings. This fall, we’re partnering again with NB Power to bring their In-Store Rebate Program directly to shoppers across New Brunswick.
We’re looking for reliable, outgoing, enthusiastic people to join our Moncton team as Energy
Efficiency Event Representatives from September 22 to November 16. You’ll represent NB Power in select local retailers on weekends throughout Moncton, helping customers learn how they can save money and energy by choosing more efficient products. This is a hands-on, engaging role where you’ll talk with customers, answer questions, and make it easier for people to take action on energy efficiency.

Job Responsibilities
- Provide Amazing Customer Service— Create a friendly, professional, and helpful in-store experience.
- Engage and educate customers on energy efficiency choices and related product knowledge (training will be provided)
- Facilitate events at store level
- Set up, interact, and pack up after your shift.
- Track program participation, collect customer information, and submit all reporting to the appropriate lead in a timely fashion
- Attend paid training (Mandatory)
- Training: in-person September 23rd, 2025
Job Qualifications/ Requirements
- Friendly, energetic, and approachable attitude
- Comfortable talking to people and answering questions
- Reliable, professional appearance
- Able to stand for about 6 hours at a time
- Written skills: ability to log information accurately
- Basic computer skills (you’ll need to send reports after each shift)
- Bilingual (French/English) for some store locations — others require English only
- CSA-approved footwear is required for any Home Depot events
Working Conditions
Move equipment and materials weighing up to 20lbs during the setup and takedown of the event.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position for the duration of the shift
Shift Times
9:30-10am Set-up (30 Min)
10 am-3 pm Event (5 Hours)
3:00-3:15 pm Take-down (15 Min)
Reporting at home after each shift (15 Min)
