Oxford College is actively seeking an Education Development Associate (EDA). The EDA plays a key role in advancing curriculum initiatives, supporting program development projects, and facilitating the delivery of academic content across the institution.
Working under the direction of the Education Development Manager, this position combines academic planning, regulatory alignment, and documentation support to ensure high-quality educational programming. The role requires an individual who brings strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of postsecondary education processes. This is a mid-tier, action-oriented position ideal for professionals who contribute meaningfully to curriculum design, academic document preparation, and internal project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Support curriculum development for new and existing postsecondary diploma programs
- Prepare and format academic documents, program outlines, and compliance materials
- Maintain communication logs and status trackers related to accreditation and regulatory bodies
- Conduct academic research and environmental scans to support strategic planning
- Organize and manage textbook selection aligned with delivery methods and instructional design
- Assist in preparing documentation for government submissions and internal review cycles
- Maintain and update shared curriculum resources, templates, and workflow documents
- Provide structured assistance to the Education Development Manager on ongoing and ad hoc projects
Summary of Qualifications
- Postsecondary degree in Education, Curriculum Development, or a related field; Master’s preferred
- Minimum two years of experience in curriculum development or academic services, preferably in Ontario
- Experience with LMS platforms (e.g., Canvas) and educational tools (e.g., Articulate 360)
- Demonstrated excellence in written communication, formatting, and academic documentation
- Ability to manage multiple timelines and work independently with minimal supervision
