The eCommerce Business Analyst works cross-functionally and collaborates with a variety of internal business units to conduct performance as well as data reporting analysis, applies their demonstrated exceptional expertise in creating and maintaining documentation, and identifies opportunities for continuous process improvement.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
▪ E-commerce Performance Analysis: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as traffic, conversion rates, cart abandonment, average order value (AOV), and sales performance to generate actionable insights.

▪ Create and Maintain Documentation: Develop, maintain, and ensure the clarity, structure, and organization of documentation for all e-commerce activities, including project reports, data analysis, technical specifications, business requirements, and operational procedures.
▪ Standardize Documentation: Design and implement standardized templates, style guides, and best practices for documenting business processes, performance reports, and project timelines to ensure consistency across all documents.
▪ Data Reporting & Analysis: Regularly produce actionable business insights and clear reports on e-commerce performance, marketing campaigns, product launches, and customer behavior.
▪ Collaboration Across Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, IT, and other business units, to gather data, document project requirements, and ensure alignment between teams.
▪ Quality Assurance: Review and update documentation regularly to maintain accuracy, consistency, and completeness while ensuring clarity and usability.
▪ Documentation for Compliance & Audits: Ensure all project documentation adheres to company standards and regulatory requirements, maintaining proper records for compliance and audit purposes.
▪ Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance documentation processes and propose solutions to improve the efficiency and quality of the team’s work.
▪ E-commerce Platform Involvement: Provide documentation and analytical support related to platforms such as Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify, Magento, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), and other content management systems (CMS).

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
▪ Experience: 4+ years of experience in an E-commerce Business Analyst role or a similar position with a focus on documentation responsibilities.
▪ Documentation Expertise: Exceptional ability to create, structure, and maintain clear, detailed, and organized documentation, including business requirements, project plans, and technical documents.
▪ Data Analysis & Reporting: Proficiency in analyzing and presenting e-commerce data clearly and in an actionable format. Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and Microsoft Excel.
▪ Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
▪ Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, ensuring that all documentation is accurate, complete, and error-free.
▪ Tools Proficiency: Familiarity with documentation tools such as Confluence, Jira, Google Docs, Microsoft Word, and Excel. Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence platforms is a plus.
▪ Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple documentation tasks simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
ADDITIONAL RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:
▪ E-commerce Platforms: Experience with platforms like Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify, Magento, AEM, Content Management System is a bonus.
▪ Data Visualization Tools: Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools for data analysis and reporting.
▪ Regulatory Compliance & Audits: Experience ensuring that documentation meets company standards and regulatory requirements.
▪ Cross-functional Collaboration: Proven ability to work across multiple departments to gather data and ensure alignment with project goals and requirements.
