We are seeking a Professional, dedicated and passionate Early Childhood, Educator to join our team. This role is essential in fostering a nurturing and educational environment for young children, promoting their development through play-base learning, socialization, and age-appropriate engaging activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with children of diverse backgrounds, including those with disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Execute the daily routine in accordance with the poste schedule in the assigned classroom.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational programs and activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
- Provide individualized support to children with special needs, ensuring their inclusion in all activities.
- Foster a positive learning environment by establishing strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Maintain effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress and development.
- Collaborate with other educators and specialists to create an inclusive classroom setting.
- Monitor children's behavior and provide guidance to encourage positive interactions among peers.
- Keep accurate records of children's progress, assessments, and any relevant documentation.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the classroom environment.
Requirements
- Educational background in early childhood Educational field
- Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is an asset
- Strong understanding of special education practices and working with individuals with disabilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with children, parents, and staff.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities to guide classroom activities effectively.
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage classroom materials and schedules efficiently.
- Strong knowledge in Alberta Licensing and regulations
- Excellent in communication skills to effectively interact with children, workers ,and parents.
- Patience, empathy ,and caring.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.64-$28.62 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 44 per week
