BGC Okanagan is hiring a part time Early Childhood Educator Assistants to provide lunch coverage for our Lakers Club in Vernon.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of programs and activities that are consistent with agency core values and core programming areas.
- Ensure that programs develop, engage members, address healthy positive child development and provide members with a sense of belonging.
- Provide a nurturing, fun and safe environment for children
- Establish positive relationships and open communication with parents/guardians
- Ensure that specific goals of the children and programs are met
Qualifications:
- Early Childhood Assistant Certification is required
- Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain
- Successful completion of Agency screening process, including a criminal record check
Only qualified Early Childhood Educator Assistants with current certificate to practice in British Columbia will be considered. This position does not meet RCIP requirements.
Hours: 30 hours, Monday to Friday
Rate of Pay: $21.22 per hour plus cost shared benefits, paid vacation and sick time
