Highlights:
HOGGTOWN FIRE PROTECTION SUPPLY is looking for an experienced and reliable DZ licensed driver to work from our Vaughan location and deliver throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
Shift: MON-FRI 6:00AM- 3:00PM (start and end times are estimates and may change due to business needs)
Driver Duties
- Assist in loading of truck, verify paperwork and conduct safety inspection
- Deliver order via the most efficient route and document delivery
- Provide effective customer service and communicate effectively with the dispatcher
- Adhere to all applicable safety regulations and comply with all company policies and procedures
- Assist in warehouse as needed
Requirements
- Must possess and be able to maintain a valid Province of Ontario “DZ” Driver’s License. Must have Manual Endorsement.
- Must have experience with 10 Speed Manual Transmission.
- Must have a minimum of three years commercial truck driving experience in a similar vehicle and hauling a similar product and provide an insurance letter of experience
- Boom Truck Crane Experience an Asset.
- For insurance purposes, applicants must be at least 25 years of age
- Provide a copy of a recent and clean driving record (i.e., no major violations) and a CVOR driver abstract (no losses within the last 3 years)
- Ability to lift or move objects up to 23 kg (50 pounds) consistently
- Superior customer service skills
- Proficient in English and able to follow instructions and written procedures
- Delivery driving experience is an asset
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
