Job Title: Driver (Full-Time)
Location: Kingston, ON
Starting Pay: $18.00/hour
About the Role
CADUCEON Environmental Laboratories is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Driver to join our team. This full-time permanent position plays a vital role in transporting environmental samples and supplies between our lab and various client locations. If you enjoy being on the road, keeping things organized, and contributing to environmental services, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive samples and supplies to and from Ottawa and Kingston daily
- Pick up and deliver sampling supplies and environmental samples as requested
- Maintain company vehicles: wash, fuel, and check fluid levels (oil, brake, washer, transmission)
- Keep vehicles clean and organized inside and out
- Assist with disposal of water and soil samples as directed
- Maintain accurate records related to sample drop-off depots
- Support warehouse upkeep: organize shelves, sweep floors, and ensure cleanliness
- Participate in annual WHMIS and MSDS safety training
- Carry out other duties as assigned by management within scope of training
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Class G Driver’s License
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Comfortable with physical tasks and outdoor work in all seasons
Schedule & Compensation
- Full-time, permanent position
- Monday to Friday (occasional flexibility may be required)
- Starting wage: $18.00/hour
