We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Door Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our premises while providing excellent customer service to guests and visitors. This position requires a proactive individual who can effectively monitor access points, ensure compliance with security protocols, and contribute to a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests as they enter and exit the facility, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Monitor the entrance and exit points using surveillance equipment, including CCTV, to prevent unauthorized access.
- Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify any potential security risks or safety hazards.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary to maintain safety standards.
- Respond promptly to any incidents or emergencies, following established protocols for loss prevention.
- Maintain accurate records of visitor logs and report any suspicious activities to management.
- Provide assistance in managing crowd control during events or peak times.
Skills
- Proficient in surveillance techniques and operation of CCTV systems.
- Strong understanding of loss prevention strategies and practices.
- Previous experience in law enforcement or security roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse individuals.
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential threats or irregularities.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations while making quick decisions.
