Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pet Bather to join our team. As a Pet Bather, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the comfort and cleanliness of our furry clients. You will be responsible for bathing, possible grooming experioence, nail triming, and providing excellent customer service to pet owners. This position requires a love for animals, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Bathe and groom pets according to their specific needs and breed standards.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of pets during the bathing process.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bathing area and grooming tools.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their pets' needs.
- Assist in handling pets safely and securely during grooming sessions.
- Perform heavy lifting as needed when handling larger breeds or multiple pets.
- Monitor pets for any signs of distress or health issues during grooming.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in pet care or grooming / bathing is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary, especially with larger dogs.
- A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow grooming instructions accurately.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
