Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a commitment to providing exceptional grooming services. The successful applicant will currently live within 30 km of Central Saanich. As the Wolf In Winter Dog Groomer, you will be responsible for ensuring that pets look and feel their best while delivering outstanding customer service to pet owners. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to handle various breeds and sizes.
Responsibilities
- Provide grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for dogs.
- Assess the condition of coats and skin, identifying any issues that may require attention.
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized after each use.
- Communicate effectively with owners to understand their grooming preferences and provide recommendations based on their pet's needs.
- Assist in managing appointments and maintaining customer records as needed.
- Lift and handle pets of various sizes, ensuring their safety during grooming sessions.
Experience
- Previous experience in pet grooming is required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with pet owners.
- Physical capability to perform heavy lifting as required when handling larger breeds or multiple pets.
