Petite Paws is hiring! Petite Paws is a business invested in the highest standards of pet care. Specializing in services for small breeds, every aspect of our business reflects our values of compassion, respect, quality and safety.
Our business is growing, and we are looking for a responsible dog lover to join our team of passionate dog people. This job will involve managing group play and providing walks/potty breaks in the community. It will also involve cleaning, customer service, time management and hanging out with the best dogs in Vancouver.
An Ideal Candidate would be:
*Experienced with working with dogs in a professional setting.
*Knowledgeable about positive reinforcement dog training.
*Knowledgeable about dog body language.
*Passionate about providing quality care.
*Able to provide high quality customer service.
*Have excellent communication skills.
*Open and have flexible availability
Requirements
- You should love dogs - you must truly care about their well-being; making them happy makes you happy
- Always on-time - if you aren't, you won't last with us
- Hard-working - this is a physical job, not just sitting around playing with dogs
- Good memory for names - you'll be tested on which dog has what name
- Can follow systems and protocols - we run a tight shop and you must follow the way we do things
- Good team member - get along with your teammates and communicate well
- Committed - want something you can stick with and grow with for at least a year
This position will be part time.
