We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe, fun, and engaging environment for dogs in our daycare facility. You will interact with dogs of various breeds and sizes, ensuring their well-being and happiness throughout the day. This position requires a love for animals, strong customer service skills, and the ability to perform physical tasks.
The working hours are every Saturday 9am-5pm. The ideal candidate would also be flexible to cover vacation/sick days as well as picking up more hours during busy periods, if desired . This role would be ideal for someone in school/ with another flexible part time job. Looking for someone who can commit for 6months minimum

Duties
- Supervise and engage with dogs during playtime to ensure their safety and enjoyment.
- Maintain cleanliness in the daycare area by regularly cleaning up after the dogs and sanitizing play spaces.
- Feed and provide fresh water to dogs as per their individual needs.
- Monitor dog behaviors and report any concerns to management.
- Assist in managing the check-in and check-out process for clients, ensuring excellent customer service at all times.
- Provide updates to pet owners about their dog's day, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Participate in training sessions for new staff members on proper dog handling techniques and daycare procedures.
Experience
- Previous experience working with dogs or in a pet care environment is preferred but not required as paid training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong customer service skills are essential for interacting with clients effectively.
- A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their care is crucial for success in this role.
