Duties
- Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for various breeds of dogs and cats.
- Assess the condition of each pet's coat and skin to determine appropriate grooming techniques and products.
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized after each use.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' grooming needs and any health concerns observed during grooming sessions.
- Provide exceptional customer service by building rapport with clients and addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Lift and handle pets safely, ensuring their comfort throughout the grooming process.
Qualifications
- Previous grooming experience is REQUIRED ( max 2 years plus certifications)
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients and their pets.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required when handling larger breeds or multiple pets.
- Knowledge of various grooming techniques and products is a must.
- A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their care and well-being.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey information to pet owners.
