The Petland Distribution Centre provides support to all company stores in a timely and professional manner. As Petland continues to grow, our job responsibilities are always evolving. At Petland we are dedicated to matching the right candidate with the right role. The job responsibilities in this Distribution Centre are as follows but are not limited to:
Distribution Centre Worker Job Responsibilities:
- Completes shipments by processing and loading orders.
- Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.
- Completes deliveries by driving truck or van to and from vendors.
- Enforces inventory controls by collecting stock location orders.
- Receive delivery trucks and process new inventory.
- Provides quality service by following organization standards.
- Tag and label, and work with added value merchandise.
- Preserves safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat.
- Promotes clean receiving/shipping supply area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Completes reports by entering required information.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
The Petland Distribution Centre operates Monday to Friday with 40 hour work shifts and competitive wages. Full time employees qualify for our benefits package and employee discounts on retail product.

- Forklift Certification within 90 days of job entry date
- Familiarity with Radio Frequency (RF) equipment is preferred
