Classic Towing & Storage is currently looking for Dispatcher/Call Taker/Front Desk for Daytime and Evenings (Shifts through 7AM-11PM). New hire must have open availability to work weekdays/weekends as our operations are 24 hours 365 days a year. We are looking for enthusiastic, level headed, calm, collective people with great work ethic, that has knowledge of the City (Toronto and Surrounding cities) streets, how to use GPS and tracking systems. Process paperwork and take inbound calls. Who can supervise and manage up to 30 drivers, give proper and clear directions, be assertive when needed, calm and collective when situations arise, reliable and on-time to shifts.
Duties
- Training with the lead dispatch, call taker and more during the week
- Develop and maintain good communications with drivers and other staff
- Dispatching drivers to calls, providing route information, location and destination information as required.
- Providing front line customer service by keeping clients updated on calls and ETA's
- Answer phones, emails and other online portals for clients.
- Manage operational sheets
- Providing daily reports regarding the incidents that arise during the shift
Skills
- Organizational skills
- Strong computer, written and communication, with conflict resolution skills
- Capable of keeping effective time management, with the ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects and at times allied under a strict deadline
- Keeping clear and concise communication with staff and drivers
- Knowledgeable with computer soft ware and two communication devices
- Problem solving and thinking outside the box for further solutions.
