Remote Dispatcher – Trucking Industry (Full-Time)

We are a fast-growing transportation company looking for a highly organized and experienced Dispatcher to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in the trucking industry, with excellent communication and coordination skills to support our operations across Canada and the US.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and dispatch trucks efficiently to meet customer delivery timelines.
- Communicate with drivers to provide routes, delivery instructions, and updates.
- Monitor load status, track shipments, and resolve issues as they arise.
- Coordinate with shippers, receivers, and freight brokers.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, driver logs, and load documents.
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
- Optimize routes for fuel efficiency and timely delivery.
- Provide after-hours or weekend support as needed.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of dispatching experience in a trucking/logistics environment.
- Strong knowledge of North American highway systems, truck routes, and HOS (Hours of Service) rules.
- Understanding of truck types (dry van, reefer, flatbed, etc.) and load requirements.
- Experience with dispatch software (e.g., Loadlink, A1,TMS, etc.).
- Excellent English communication skills – written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Strong problem-solving, multitasking, and organizational abilities.
- Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have reliable internet and a quiet remote workspace.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience dispatching cross-border (Canada–USA) loads.
- Familiarity with ELD systems and fleet compliance monitoring.
- Prior experience working with owner-operators and company drivers.
- Knowledge of load boards, freight rates, and logistics contracts.
