Key Responsibilities will include:
- Schedule drivers routes to ensure optimal utilization of manpower and equipment
- Monitor and maintain driver safety records
- Manage daily activity of the fleet
- Liaise with maintenance to ensure availability for maintenance and inspections
- Prepare reports on trucking performance and productivity
- Maintain active contact with other terminals to optimize resources
- Maintain working knowledge of products hauled, regulations and operating authorities
- Ensure driver's compliance with HOS and Safety regulations when dispatching
We need you to have:
- At least a High School diploma
- At least 6 months of experience in truck dispatching is required
- Proficient computer skills
- Spoken Hindi or Punjabi is an asset
