We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook/Dishwasher to join our team in a dynamic kitchen environment. Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and assembling ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and pans.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and sanitized after use.
- Help with inventory management by checking supplies and notifying management of low stock levels.
- Follow food safety guidelines for food handling and storage to ensure the highest quality standards are met.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal service during peak hours.
- Support other kitchen staff as needed to maintain an efficient workflow.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or kitchen environments is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation methods.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards helping others in the kitchen.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
