Boccaccio Ristorante is looking for a dedicated and reliable Full-Time Dishwasher / Prep Cook to join our team.
This position is ideal for someone who is organized, hardworking, and interested in growing within a professional kitchen environment. You’ll be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization, supporting the kitchen team with food prep, and eventually assisting with basic cooking tasks such as frying and assembling antipasti.
Responsibilities include:
- Washing dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen tools
- Keeping the dish area and kitchen clean and organized. Including stocking products and lifting weight.
- Assisting with basic prep work (cutting vegetables, portioning, etc.)
- Supporting line cooks as needed
- Learning and handling tasks such as frying and plating cold starters
Requirements:
- Full-time availability (days, evenings, weekends)
- Punctuality and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in a kitchen is an asset but not required — we are willing to train the right candidate
