We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our dynamic kitchen team. Duties
- Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste as needed.
- Assist in food preparation tasks as required, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients.
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to maintain safety and hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes for service.
- Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen manager promptly.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking techniques, is a plus.
- Knowledge of food service best practices and food handling procedures is essential.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent cleaning skills to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
