At Social Corner, the Dishwasher is a vital member of the kitchen team, ensuring the cleanliness and organisation of all equipment and spaces. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Help set the standards of operation and culture for the opening of our new location.
- Wash and sanitise dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to Social Corner’s cleanliness standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised dishwashing area to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Ensure all equipment is cleaned, dried, and stored properly for immediate use.
- Remove garbage and recycling promptly, maintaining tidy and functional waste areas.
- Support the kitchen team by assisting with basic cleaning tasks, such as sweeping and mopping floors.
- Replenish cleaning supplies and notify supervisors when stock levels are low.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe and hygienic work environment.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate efforts during busy service periods.
- Report maintenance or equipment issues to the kitchen leadership promptly.
- Contribute to the efficiency of the kitchen by maintaining Social Corner’s high standards of cleanliness.
REQUIREMENTS
- No previous experience required; training will be provided.
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and carrying items.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- A collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
