Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team! The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Duties
- Clean and sanitize all dishes, utensils, pots, and pans used in food preparation and service.
- Operate dishwashing equipment efficiently while adhering to safety and sanitation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors, counters, and storage spaces.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, following instructions from cooks or chefs.
- Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure the safety of all food items.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food handling and sanitation practices is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills and a willingness to help others in the kitchen.
