We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties
- Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors regularly.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including washing and cutting vegetables or other ingredients.
- Ensure proper food handling and storage practices are followed to maintain food safety standards.
- Support kitchen staff by organizing clean dishes and utensils for easy access during service.
- Dispose of waste properly and assist with recycling efforts in the kitchen.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow during busy service periods.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food handling safety is a plus.
- Experience in hospitality or hotel settings can be beneficial.
- A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure are essential qualities for success in this role.
