Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors as needed.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by kitchen staff.
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
- Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
- Follow health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation practices.
- Support other kitchen staff as needed during busy service periods.
Skills
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
