Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and providing excellent service to our guests.

Duties

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste.
• Assist with food preparation as needed, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients.
• Support the culinary team during busy service periods by bussing tables and ensuring that clean dishes are readily available.
• Participate in banquet setups and breakdowns when required, contributing to catering events as necessary.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain an efficient workflow during peak hours.

Skills

• Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
• Experience in food preparation or cooking is a plus.
• Strong cleaning skills with an emphasis on maintaining hygiene standards.
• Knowledge of banquet service or catering operations is beneficial.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on hospitality and customer service.

Pay: $17.85-$19.95 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 32 per week
