Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Dishwasher plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential to the overall efficiency of our food service operations and contributes to providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Duties
- Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, pots, pans, and utensils efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen by regularly cleaning work areas, floors, and equipment.
- Sort and stack clean dishes in designated areas for easy access by kitchen staff.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including washing vegetables and preparing ingredients.
- Dispose of waste materials properly and ensure recycling protocols are followed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely availability of clean dishes during service hours.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen as needed.
- Knowledge of basic food handling practices is a plus.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as necessary.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00-$19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
