We are searching for a technical leader to drive and grow our firmware and silicon validation teams. Candidates should have experience building and leading teams that develop software for custom silicon. Untether values tight hardware/software co-design. We are looking for a leader who will bring technical excellence to the firmware and validation team while building constructive partnerships with other cross-functional groups.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow the Firmware and Silicon Validation teams
- Lead through the entire product life cycle - concept through end of life
- Deliver firmware, validation infrastructure, and tests suitable for simulation, rapid
- prototyping, hardware bringup, manufacturing test, and mission mode deployment
- Contribute strategic direction for the broader company
- Drive detailed planning and execution across the team and with partner teams
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, and experience:
- Must have technical and people leadership experience
- Must have developed high end custom silicon (CPU, GPU, SOC, NICs, etc.)
- Must have 1st silicon success experience for first power on of new hardware
- Has lead firmware and/or silicon validation teams
- Familiar with clocks, resets, PCB components, and complex IPs like PCIE or DRAM
- Delivered test software to silicon and PCB manufacturing
- Co-designed and co-planned silicon with hardware, software, and product teams
- Expert in HW and SW best practices. Ready to lead the team that connects the orgs.
