Prairie Co-op is hiring a Full Time Director of Energy and Ag. This position will be located at one of our Prairie Co-op Ag sites.

What you’ll do:
Reporting to the General Manager, the Director of Energy and Ag will be responsible for providing strategic direction for the Energy and Ag Division while leading and guiding in administering corporate performance management, strategic planning, marketing, risk management and annual operating and capitals budgets. Responsibilities include:
- Provide strategic leadership for the Ag, Energy, and divisions to achieve growth and business development objectives and strategies
- Collaborate with Marketing and Community Relations in the development and implementation of annual and long-term Prairie Co-op marketing strategies and plans that support corporate and division goals.
- Responsible for the efficient, effective, and safe operations in each of the Ag, Energy, and divisions
- Collaborate with Risk Management in providing for health, safety, and security of all employees and operational assets.
- Provide leadership and guidance in the implementation of a consistent brand-aligned customer service strategy at Prairie Co-op Ag and Energy locations.
- Provide leadership to a team of Managers. Responsible for the talent management cycle, including recruitment, development and training, and performance management.
- Develop annual operating budgets, capital budgets, and business plans for each division that support the corporate goals.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Agriculture and:
- You have a degree in a relevant field (Business, Agriculture) and a P. Ag preferred
- You have 10+ years of relevant experience, including 8+ years of leadership experience leading technical, professional and or management employees
- You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
