Job Description

Reporting to the Associate Vice President of Practice and Academics, the Director provides senior leadership for the development and execution of Osler’s Quality Excellence, and Research and Academics strategy. Central to this role is the advancement of a high-performing, academically integrated practice environment that supports high-quality, safe, person-centered care and professional growth.

The Director will lead teams responsible for clinical education, student placement integration, academic partnerships, the simulation lab, policy development, and professional practice development across all sites. This role is key to building scholarly capacity within leaders and frontline teams and creating robust career development pathways for nurses and allied health professionals. As a transformational leader and change agent, the Director will help to create an environment where leaders, clinical teams, and learners thrive, resulting in improved patient outcomes, better staff and learner engagement, and system efficiencies.
