What is the opportunity?
Identity and Access Management (IAM) Process Services Director role is responsible for management of IAM’s process model framework and the implementation of the process model in alignment with IAM strategic and operational processes, contributing to the overall compliance of IAM controls and services. This role provides management oversight globally for IAM processes, working closely across IAM Process and Compliance teams, as well as IAM domain operations. Coordinates with cross functional IAM associated teams and RBC to oversee IT development/delivery of IAM services to ensure strategic goals and objectives are accomplished.
What will you do?
IAM Process Framework Design and Maintenance
- Defines and maintains enterprise-wide IAM Process framework and models, including supporting material while, leveraging a central repository for tracking and audit compliance
- Identifies and defines minimum set of business requirements and control points and provides project-level guidance.
- Leads the IAM design assurance committee
IAM Process Model Implementation and Support
- Defines and maintains enterprise-wide IAM Process Models and supporting material pertaining IAM services.
- Assists with facilitation of IAM enterprise communication plans and adoption of IAM Process Models across LoB and functions; identifies instance of non-conformance; assists with formal IT Risk exception handling and risk review process.
- Management of the IAM Target Operating Model (TOM), ensuring the currency of tasks and process linkage for each of the IAM functions.
- Maintains and keep up-to-date the inventory of current IAM processes and technologies across the enterprise
Metrics and Reporting
- Collaborates on the monitoring of compliance with IAM related controls, policies, standards and applicable regulations.
- Contributes to the reports on Key Performance Indicators (KPI), Key Risk Indicators (KRI), and SLA.
IAM Enhancement Oversight:
- Collaboratively working with other IAM teams participating and contributing to the implementation of Identity & Access Management (IAM) framework including the ongoing monitoring, reporting and escalation procedures, identification of emerging trends, best practice information, client/system security issues.
- Provide recommendations for continuous integration to improve the build and deployment process and identify opportunities for automation.
- Assists in tool evaluations and proof-of-concept deployments, examining IAM process and control alignment
Communication and Awareness:
- Promote IAM best practices, strategy and vision across the organization through successful delivery, roadshows and workshops.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Demonstrated leadership and problem solving capabilities
- 10+ years in Identity and Access Management domain
- 10+ years in IT operations or IT technology risk
- Experience in delivering and managing IT services
- 5+ years in process design, documentation and implementation
Nice-to-have
- CRISC or equivalent
- Experience in IT strategies and architectural framework
- Project management experience
