The Toronto Blue Jays are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Brand & Digital Marketing Specialist to join our growing marketing team on a 12-month contract.
Reporting to the Manager, Brand & Digital Marketing, the successful candidate will support the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns that drive performance, deepen fan engagement, and elevate our brand across online and offline channels. This role will also play a key part in ensuring the timely and accurate execution of paid media campaigns and influencer activations, while maintaining strong alignment with cross-functional teams. As a key member of the marketing team, this role requires a strong mix of creative thinking, cross-functional collaboration, project management, and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Support Across Performance Marketing
- Creative scheduling and trafficking of omni-channel media campaigns
across platforms such as Meta, Google, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, broadcast and radio, including the setup of pixel and tag management, working closely with internal teams and MLB to ensure timely and accurate campaign launches. - Maintain campaign timelines, campaign QA checklists, and task trackers to ensure clear communication and coordination across teams.
- Support in streamlining marketing budget management, developing POs and tracking marketing spend across channels
Influencer Marketing Support
- Coordinate influencer logistics, including creator outreach, briefing, and day-to-day communications, ensuring smooth coordination of deliverables and campaign execution.
- Support in executing influencer activations at games or events, including scheduling, gifting, credentials, and content incentive programs.
- Manage influencer CRM data and campaign performance reporting in CreatorIQ or similar tools.
Reporting & Analytics
- Pull and organize campaign performance data from platforms such as Looker, Adobe Analytics, or similar, including managing campaign and creative taxonomy for reporting.
- Assist in developing weekly and monthly reporting summaries that highlight trends, creative performance, and audience insights.
- Track the results of test-and-learn experiments related to creative, audience, or platform strategy.
Creative & Brand Marketing Support
- Support development of creative briefs for paid media assets and other marketing materials, contribute to ad copywriting, and manage internal review and approval processes.
- Support administration of marketing and ticketing master calendar on ongoing campaigns and product launches.
- Assist in the rollout of brand and promotional campaigns across paid, owned, and offline channels.
- Manage and maintain creative assets across marketing channels, including asset delivery and filing.
- Support the execution of seasonal brand storytelling moments and promotions that deepen fan engagement.
Cross-Functional Campaign Execution
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., Ticketing, Content, Promotions, Strategy) to align on campaign deliverables and timelines.
- Support the preparation of campaign updates, recaps, and presentation materials for internal meetings.
Who You Are / What You Bring
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in digital or brand marketing, media or advertising in either agency-side or in-house
- Comfortable working in paid media platforms such as Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads and programmatic
- Familiarity with analytics platforms (Looker, Adobe Analytics), GTM, and campaign tracking (UTMs, pixels)
- Comfortable working with campaign data and translating performance metrics into actionable insights
- Experience with project management platforms ie. Monday.com
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A collaborative team player with strong communication skills and a self-starter mindset
- Passion for creative storytelling and marketing that connects with diverse audiences
- Interest in baseball, live entertainment, or culture-driven marketing is an asset
