We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively.
Duties
- Assist the dentist during various procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
- Take patient medical histories and update records accurately.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow efficiently.
- Utilize dental software Dentrix and Dexis for patient management and record keeping.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations within the dental office.
- Perform administrative tasks as needed, including answering phones and managing patient inquiries.
Requirements
- Experience as a Dental Assistant an assest.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
- HARP Certification, and in Dental Assisting is required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 14 – 16 per week
