We’re a thriving, patient-focused dental practice in Kamloops, and we’re looking for an exceptional Dental Administrator / Leader who’s ready to make a positive impact, lead with confidence, and help take our team to the next level.
This is a unique opportunity for someone who is not only a strong leader but also proficient in the hands-on, day-to-day functions of a dental office—and can lead by example in every aspect of practice operations.
About the Role
As the heart of our operational team, you’ll be responsible for ensuring our practice runs smoothly every single day—while creating an environment where people feel supported, engaged, and empowered to do their best work.
You’ll oversee all aspects of the practice and stay actively involved in daily tasks, using your broad knowledge and skillset to support and guide the team. Your leadership will directly impact the quality of patient care, staff performance, and overall practice success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support all day-to-day operations of the practice
- Lead, coach, and inspire both front office and clinical staff with clarity, energy, and accountability
- Set clear expectations and keep the team focused on daily, weekly, and monthly goals
- Oversee scheduling, billing, insurance processing, and patient coordination
- Support with team hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management
- Understand, analyze and manage KPIs, production goals, and practice metrics to drive growth and identify where improvements are required to support organizational goals.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with clinical providers to ensure seamless and high-quality patient experiences
- Lead by example by being fully proficient in the roles you oversee—including front desk, financial coordination, and patient engagement

Qualifications:
- Proven leadership experience in a dental or healthcare setting (medical, optical, physio, etc.)
- A comprehensive understanding of all roles and functions within a dental office
- Proficiency in dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and connect with team members and patients
- Track record of successful staff supervision, operational efficiency, and meeting performance targets
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to stay hands-on while managing people, systems, and outcomes
