What You’ll Do:
- Use statistical forecasting models to predict future sales and inventory needs
- Develop and execute inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs
- Collaborate with supply chain, sales, marketing, and finance teams to achieve optimal demand forecast accuracy
- Present, solicit, and assess feedback on the various forecasts from sales, marketing, and finance
- Ensure timely and accurate entry of demand forecasts into the company’s planning system
- Monitor SKU levels and provide input on the development and realization of inventory plans
- Prepare and maintain relevant reports pertaining to demand planning process
- Collaborate with Supply Planning Team on long term capacity analysis and planning
What You Need to Get the Job Done:
- Proven experience as a Demand Planning Analyst (3-5 Years)
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- BSc/BA in Business, Logistics or relevant field
- APICS certification is a plus
