We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Prep Cook/delivery driver to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the kitchen by preparing ingredients, assisting with meal preparation, and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. This position requires a passion for cooking, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. drivers duties include prepping chicken, cooking chicken, making pizza dough/pizzas, prepping pizza toppings, and general kitchen duties.
Duties
- Prepare and chop ingredients such as vegetables, meats, and herbs for cooking.
- Assist chefs in the preparation of dishes according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper storage of food items.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including mixers, slicers, and ovens.
- Follow food safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Assist with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of low stock levels.
- Support customer service efforts by ensuring timely preparation of orders.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation role is required.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with other kitchen staff.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is beneficial.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new techniques in the culinary field.
