Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. The ideal candidate should possess excellent customer service skills and be comfortable with heavy lifting and warehouse operations. This position requires effective communication skills and the ability to operate commercial vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling to avoid damage.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and logs, including vehicle inspections.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues during deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and warehouse staff regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization of stock.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on the vehicle to ensure safety and reliability.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
- Experience operating forklifts is a plus, enhancing efficiency in loading and unloading tasks.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the nature of the goods being transported.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations, including inventory management practices.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers.
- Valid Driver's License, demonstrating capability in operating larger vehicles. Preference will be given to Air Brakes Endorsement.
- Experience in moving goods efficiently within a warehouse or similar environment is advantageous.

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
