Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Delivery Driver who will soon be a key contributor to our mobile espresso bar team. This individual will be dedicated to ensuring seamless and timely deliveries, transporting our mobile bars with precision and care. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in setting up and maintaining equipment, while contributing to the overall success of our operations. Your expertise in driving, attention to detail, and commitment to punctuality and organization will help create exceptional event experiences for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Deliveries: Transport and deliver mobile espresso bars to various event locations.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain, organize, and clean equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
- Bars Setups: Set up mobile espresso bars both at event venues and within storage facilities.
- Routes Planning: Plan and manage delivery routes to optimize efficiency and punctuality.
- Delivery Reception: Receive and process incoming deliveries at the company's headquarters as required.
- Customer Service: Interacting with customers in a friendly and attentive manner, actively listening to their preferences, and providing personalized to enhance their experience.
- Quality Assurance: Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization in the preparation area, including equipment maintenance and adherence to food safety regulations, to uphold the integrity of our products.
- Product Knowledge: Willing to continuously expanding your knowledge of coffee.
Qualifications:
- Previous Experience: Working as a delivery driver or in a similar logistics role, with at least 3 years of experience in driving a large van (i.e ford transit truck) making deliveries.
- Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Ability to engage with customers professionally.
- Fluency in English: Must speak English fluently to effectively communicate with on-site customers.
- Valid Full G Driver’s License: Possess a full, valid Full G driver’s license with a clean driver abstract.
- Physical Capability: Must be physically capable of lifting and moving coffee gear and heavy equipment.
- Punctuality and Organization: A punctual, detail-oriented, clean, and organized individual.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, customer service and cleanliness.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues in a fast-paced environment, supporting each other to ensure efficient operations.
- Schedule Availability: Flexibility to work varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays - Weekends, Tuesdays & Wednesdays are a must!
- Positive Attitude: Enthusiasm for coffee culture and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service, with a positive attitude.
- Food Safety Knowledge: Understanding of basic food safety principles and hygiene practices, with a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace and following proper sanitation procedures.
- Knowledge & Passion to Coffee (not a must - but definitely a bonus!)
