Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks. Experience with commercial driving and warehouse operations is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling of items to prevent damage.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any changes.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
- Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns during deliveries.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience in commercial driving preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks (up to 50 pounds).
- Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
- Previous experience in customer service or warehouse settings is advantageous.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
