Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and effective communication with both customers and team members.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and records of shipments.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety compliance.
- Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization.
- Handle heavy lifting and moving of products as required.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in commercial driving or delivery services is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Experience operating forklifts is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is advantageous.
- Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage time efficiently.
