Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deli Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality deli products. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve deli items, including meats, cheeses, salads, and sandwiches according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist customers with their selections, providing recommendations and answering any questions regarding menu items.
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately while providing excellent customer service.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking supplies as needed to ensure product availability.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations during peak hours.
- Follow food safety guidelines in food preparation and handling.
Skills
- Previous experience in the restaurant or food service industry is preferred.
- Strong cash handling skills with experience in cashiering and operating POS systems.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential for success in this role.
