Responsibilities:
- Serve a variety of deli items, including sandwiches, salads, and hot food items
- Ensure food is prepared and presented in accordance with food safety guidelines
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area, including proper handling and storage of food
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their orders and answering any questions they may have
- Operate the point-of-sale system to accurately process customer transactions
- Upsell additional items or promotions to customers to enhance their dining experience
Requirements:
- Previous experience in food service or a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing job responsibilities
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
