DELCO COLONY SCHOOL- (2) Educational Assistant Positions
Delco Colony School is located south of Taber (from the junction of highways 61 and 36; 6 km south on highway 36; 3.5 km west on Twp Rd 62).
(2) Probationary Colony Educational Assistants – approx. 26 hours/week (each position)
Monday – Thursday 8:45 a.m. – 3:25 p.m. & Fridays 8:35 a.m. – 11:35 a.m.
Horizon Colony Schools is looking for two (2) Education Assistants for Delco Colony School. Each position entails approximately 26 hours per week.
Ideally, candidates will:
- be prepared to always demonstrate respect for Hutterite culture, traditions and beliefs
- have a positive attitude about children, learning and schools
- have a critical role in instruction, under the supervision of the teacher
- be able to work with students in small groups or 1:1
- be able to work well independently and with the school staff
- support English Language Learners in language acquisition
